Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of GoBeep. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

The service

GoBeep monitors scheduled jobs by expecting a heartbeat ping on each run and alerting you when one is missed. We work hard to deliver alerts promptly and reliably, but the service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis without warranties of any kind. GoBeep is a safety net, not a guarantee — you remain responsible for your own systems.

Your account

• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• Keep your credentials secure and your email address current.
• You must be able to form a binding contract to use GoBeep.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for anything unlawful or abusive.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the service or its infrastructure.
• Resell or relabel the service without our written permission.

Plans & billing

Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment processor. Plan limits (such as the number of monitors) apply as described on our pricing page. You can change or cancel your plan at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and downgrades your account to the free plan. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

Termination

You may stop using GoBeep and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that put the service at risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoBeep and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any losses arising from missed, delayed, or undelivered alerts. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the service means you accept the revised terms.
